Rematch/Revenge

The UCLA Bruins have had to watch all the coverage of the repeating National Champions. They have had to watch the '04s relish in the spotlight and get asked all the questions like, "are you coming back or going pro?" and "what's it like to try and repeat?" Many people forget that the Bruins were in the championship game too, and for a long while they were number one in the country when the Gators struggled. Did they get the attention? No. Did they get the respect? No. Well on March 31, 2007 they had a chance to gain it all back. But they failed. The 04's dominated once again and Lee Humphfrey added 14 as the Gator's cut down yet another set of nets. It was only a 10 point difference in the end but the Bruins were playing catchup the entire game. Corey Brewer who flew under the radar in some of Florida's latest victories nailed 19 to lead the Gators back the the promised land. The win sets up a repeat of the BCS National Championship game where the Gators crushed the Buckeyes.
